One of my favorite movies. Looks and sounds exactly how I remember it. Just wish there were a bit more extras, as I was able to get through all 3 of the behind-the-scenes featurettes fairly quickly. Otherwise, a good, cheap purchase if you wish to own the movie physically.

I have a teenager and I struggle to find movies that we both enjoy. One day he told me that he felt as if everything around him was fake. So purchased this movie. It's about Truman. He doesn't know his entire life has been filmed and everything and everyone around him is putting on show. My son actually liked the movie. It didn't take long for everything to unravel. Which is big for kids these days since they don't have the patience for movies that take a while to get to climax.And If you're wondering, watching this movie didn't put my sons suspicions at ease. Pero, whatever. He'll live.

I just need to re-watch everything with my husband. It is a must. Plus, I feel I like to see how time has changed, media has pushed ideas on society, influenced decisions, thoughts, actions, activities and development. It is thought provoking to watch movies even from a few years ago.

This was by far the most fascinating movie I've ever seen. The manipulation, the intensity. It really show the human condition where innately we search for something outside of ourselves and no matter what the universe will move to meet that desire if we go after it. Christoff, as any corporation tends to do, protect itself by lying to the general public and uses power to manipulate this singular life. It's a battle of wills and I was on the edge of my seat.Jim Carey put forth an excellent performance as he understood this character and the premise. This and his portrayal of the comedian Andy Kaufman were and are his best work.
